Fontana, CA : Fatal traffic collision is reported in western Fontana on Saturday, 7th September 2019

A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in western Fontana on Sept. 7, according to the Fontana Police Department.

At about 11:45 p.m., officers responded to the scene of the incident on Foothill Boulevard west of Mulberry Avenue, said Officer Daniel Romero.Officers determined that the driver was traveling westbound on Foothill in the No. 1 lane. A 47-year-old man, a resident of Rancho Cucamonga, was attempting to cross Foothill outside the crosswalk when the collision occurred.
