Claiborne County, MS : Fatal accident claimed the life of a woman on early Monday morning September 1st 2014

A fatal accident claimed the life of a Claiborne County woman early on Monday morning. According to MHP, at around 2:30 am, a car was traveling northbound on MS 547 near Tillman Road when the driver, 23-year-old Francis Barnes, lost control of her 2006 Pontiac. She left the right side of the roadway, crashing into an embankment. The force of the crash ejected Barnes from her vehicle. We are told that it appeared that she was not wearing her seatbelt.
