CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, MO : 2-vehicle crash blocks one lane of Hwy. 25 near Delta on Wednesday, 23rd September, 2020

Multiple emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash and truck fire in Cape Girardeau County on Wednesday morning, September 23.
The crash happened on Highway 25, just northeast of County Road 249 near Delta around 7:34 a.m.
According to a trooper with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 1999 Freightliner was stopped in the roadway for a pick-up truck that was on fire on the side of the roadway when an SUV rear-ended the Freightliner.
The driver of the SUV, Marla Delay, 58 of Advance, was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries.
The driver of the Freightliner was not hurt.
One lane of Hwy. 25 was blocked due to the crash.
