Dallas, TX : Two people die in Texas crash on route to LSU Tuesday morning on July 29, 2014

Two people died in a car crash in Texas while on their way to LSU.

Dallas reported the victims were identified as John Stewart, a Baylor University student, and Laura Odwundinanti, a recent graduate.

The crash happened Tuesday morning in a small town not far from Waco, TX.

According to investigators, Stewart and Odwundinanti died when their pickup truck drifted off the road and hit a tree.

Two others in the vehicle were injured in the wreck.
