Newport News VA : School bus involved in crash, no students aboard on Wednesday morning, December 14, 2016

Police say a school bus was involved in a crash in Newport News, but no students were on the bus.

The crash involving the bus and two cars happened Wednesday morning at Oyster Point Road and Jefferson Avenue.

Police spokeswoman Jaime Bastas says one of the cars ran a red light, causing the crash. Bastas says there was minor damage to the front of the bus, but the driver wasn’t injured.
