Marietta ,GA : DUI suspected in Delk Road crash on September, Friday 1st 2017

Four people were injured, one with life-threatening injuries, when their car was struck by a Marietta man accused of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Jose Rodriguez, 57, of Marietta, was stopped at the traffic light on Delk Road westbound at its intersection with Interstate 75 southbound Friday around 6:48 p.m. As Rodriguez was waiting at the intersection, a vehicle driven by Ivan Branch, 52, of Marietta, struck Rodriguez’ vehicle from behind.

Rodriguez and three passengers in his vehicle all suffered injuries in the collision and were transported to Kennestone Hospital. Twenty-four-year-old Roberto Rodriguez, a passenger in that vehicle, had injuries police described as life-threatening.
