Shelton, CT : Two people serious injuries after two-car collision in Shelton on Wednesday, MAY 11, 2016

Police said two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a head-on, two-car collision on River Road in Shelton around 5:49 p.m. Wednesday.

Both vehicles reportedly contained one passenger, and both were transported to Bridgeport Hospital.

Police said River Road was temporarily shut down, but the scene has since been cleared.
