Four people were injured in a two-car collision Wednesday afternoon on Highway 224 three miles from West Richland, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Rebecca E. Meincke, 31, of Ritzville, was driving northbound on Keene Road when her 2005 Nissan Altima failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2008 Ford pickup driven by Bruce C. Emory, 56, of Benton City.
Meincke was treated at the scene and Emory was not injured.
His three passengers, however, were transported by ambulance to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland with unknown injuries.
Passengers in Emory’s car were Desirae N. Cross, 23, of Kennewick, Justin A. Olson, 31, of Washtucna, and David J. Dofoed, 29, of Kennewick.
The crash remains under investigation but Meincke could face charges, the WSP reported.
