Murfreesboro, TN : Man died in fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 96 in Murfreesboro on Tuesday, June 28, 2016

Police in Murfreesboro are investigating a fatal crash that happened on Highway 96 on Tuesday.

A car was traveling eastbound near Veterans Parkway when it struck a motorcycle from behind, causing it to hit another car.

The motorcyclist was ejected and then struck again by another vehicle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

None of the other drivers were seriously injured.

Police are working to notify the family of the victim before releasing their name.
