Nebo, LA : Single vehicle accident in LaSalle Parish claims life of women on Monday afternoon July 7th 2014

State police say a 47-year-old Jena woman died when she crashed and was ejected from her SUV.

Trooper Scott Moreau says the crash happened around 12:20 p.m. Monday on La. Highway 127, south of La. Highway 777.

Moreau says Amy L. Webb was northbound when she lost control and ran off the road, hitting a dirt embankment and then overturning several times.

He says Webb was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
