Hermitage,PA :Trucker choking on pop crashes into 23 new cars on Sunday ,September 6th 2015

A soft drink that went down the wrong way apparently is what caused a tanker truck to go the wrong way Sunday before smashing into a North Hermitage Road car dealership.
Hermitage police were called to the scene at 1435 N. Hermitage Road a little before 4 p.m. after the truck – a tractor-trailer milk tanker – crashed into new cars and part of a building at Montrose Buick-GMC-Cadillac.
Police said the truck, driven by Thomas Young, 58, of Royal Center, Ind., was traveling north in the right lane on North Hermitage Road when it drifted then veered left, crossing the southbound lanes in front of Wal-Mart at 1275 N. Hermitage Road. The truck left the road, jumped the curb, grazed a utility pole and a tree and rumbled about 550 feet through a grassy area, across a driveway into Wal-Mart and down an embankment into the Montrose lot, police said.
Young was not injured, police said, but a 23 new cars were damaged, including one that was pushed into the dealership showroom, where it damaged another car inside
