A car-train collision in rural South Carolina has killed one person.
The Colleton County Fire Department said the crash happened late Friday morning near the Green Pond community. The victim’s name has not been released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the sheriff’s department are investigating the crash.
The fire department said no one on the train was hurt.
