Wichita, KS : Three people killed in two-vehicle car wreck on South Broadway in Sedgwick County on Friday morning, Aug 7, 2015

Three people have been killed in a two-vehicle collision early Friday morning on South Broadway, authorities said.

The collision occurred at 3:45 a.m. near 53rd Street South, a Sedgwick County emergency dispatcher said. Two men and one woman died in the crash.

A 31-year-old man from Wichita was in one of the vehicles while a 69-year-old man and 62-year-old woman from Haysville were traveling in the second, police said.

There are no survivors, the dispatcher said.

A truck remained on its side on Broadway, several hours after the collision. A tan Cadillac facing south had veered off the street following the impact, coming to rest near a utility pole.

Debris littered Broadway near 53rd Street. Yellow police tape and orange traffic cones blocked the scene from traffic and on-lookers.

Broadway remains closed from 48th Street South to 55th Street South. Police at the scene said it would remain closed for several more hours.
