Pelham, NH : One person injured in single vehicle rollover crash on Sunday September 27 2015.

Authorities said a man was flown to a Boston hospital after a rollover accident on Old Gage Hill Road in Pelham.Police said they received two reports of a single vehicle rollover near 60 Old Gage Hill Road around 3:30 p.m. While emergency responders were on their way to the scene, one caller told dispatch that the car was on fire.Police said that when Pelham firefighters arrived at the scene of the crash, they discovered that the fire had been extinguished by a good samaritan.
Authorities said a 2007 Honda CR-V was lying on its passenger side, facing south of the northbound shoulder of Old Gage Hill Road. Police said the Honda had crossed completely over the opposite lane of travel and had driven across the middle of a front lawn of a residence in the area.
Police and firefighters broke the windshield to free the unconscious occupant of the vehicle, Michael Kimpland, 52, of Tyngsborough, Massachusetts.Kimpland was stabilized by firefighters after being removed from the car and taken to a nearby landing zone. He regained consciousness shortly before being flown to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston with serious injuries.
Kimpland was the only occupant in the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
When police spoke with Kimpland later in the evening, he was unable to explain the reason for the crash. However, policesaid a witness reported seeing Kimpland passed out at the wheel shortly before the crash.
The accident is still under investigation, but police said the crash appears to be the result of drug impairment.
