A man was in critical condition after he slammed his car into the median on a Queens expressway Sunday morning, police said.
The man was heading west on the Long Island Expressway when he lost control and crashed into the center divider near Springfield Blvd. at about 10:05 a.m., police said.
Emergency responders rushed him to Long Island Jewish Medical Center in cardiac arrest.
It was not immediately clear what led to the collision.
No other cars were involved.
