BROOKSVILLE, KY : Two people were injured in a dirt bike accident on May, Saturday, 13th 2017

Two people were injured in a dirt bike accident over the weekend in Bracken County.

Bracken County Sheriff Howard Niemeier said one of his deputies was called to an accident around 11 p.m., on Saturday, between Augusta and Dover.

Upon arrival, the deputy found that two individuals had been traveling on a dirt bike near the CSX railroad tracks, when they wrecked. The cause of the wreck is unknown, according to Niemeier

Niemeier said the two were airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Hospital. Both were in critical condition with head injuries.
