Auburn , ME : Four people injured in Crash after three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 4 on Friday , February 27th 2015

Auburn Fire-Rescue and United Ambulance took four people to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston after a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 4 and Fair Street on Friday.

Most of the injures involved cuts and bruises, complaint of neck and back pain, said Battalion Chief Scott Hunter of the Auburn Fire Department. One child was taken to CMMC as a precaution

Route 4 was closed for about an hour in both directions after the crash, which was reported at 5:21 p.m., Hunter said.

Route 4 is also known as Turner Road

One vehicle appeared to have been turning when it was struck in the rear and a third vehicle struck another in rear, Hunter said.
