Milwaukee, WI : Arrested driver's passenger struck in freeway hit-and-run on Sunday morning, May 29, 2016

The passenger of a driver who was arrested for driving under the influence Sunday morning is in the hospital after being struck in a hit-and run.

A car crashed on I-43 southbound near Keefe Avenue around 3 a.m.. The vehicle's driver was arrested for OWI. The driver's passenger left the car and was hit by another one. That car's driver fled the scene.

The passenger was taken to the hospital for several injuries.
