EDINA, MO : Three injured in crash on Mo. 6 near Edina on April, Tuesday 25th 2017
Three people were taken to area hospitals for treatment Tuesday evening after a two-vehicle crash a mile south of Edina.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2014 Nissan Altima driven by Devraj Karki, 22, of Kirksville, was heading east on Mo. 6 at 5:44 p.m. when it failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Mo. 15. The car collided head-on with a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado driven by James R. Rudicil, 46, of Edina. Both vehicles came to a rest off the road.
Karki was airlifted by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with serious injuries. His passenger, Saroj Gautam, 31, of Kirksville, was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville with moderate injuries.
Rudicil was taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
Assisting were the Knox County Sheriff's Department, the Edina Police Department, Knox County Rescue and First Responders, and Knox County Ambulance.
