Fairplay, MD : Woman injured in vehicle rollover on Sharpsburg Pike on Tuesday morning, May 3, 2016

A portion of Md. 65, or Sharpsburg Pike, was closed to traffic for about an hour Tuesday morning while rescue workers responded to a vehicle rollover.

The accident happened around 8 a.m. in the area just north of the Food Lion supermarket.

Maryland State Police said the driver of the Honda CRV, Karen Shackelford, 56, of West Virginia was taken to Meritus Medical Center to be treated for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident was unavailable on Tuesday afternoon.

The roadway reopened to traffic shortly before 9 a.m.
