A man died and two teens were injured in a head-on crash on Cairo Road in McCracken County on Monday, March 22.
According to McCracken County deputies, they responded to the 7400 block of Cairo Road around 10 a.m. for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
They say a 2013 Ford Explorer was going westbound on Cairo Road, driven by 72-year-old John D. Harris of West Paducah.
According to deputies, a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by a 19-year-old Mayfield man, was going eastbound on Cairo Road. An 18-year-old Mayfield woman was a passenger.
They said both vehicles hit head-on.
The teens were transferred to out-of-state hospitals with serious injuries.
Harris was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
