Delray Beach, FL : Man freed from sedan after crash on I-95 on Wednesday July 30th 2014
Fire fighters needed the "Jaws of Life" to free a man from a sedan after a Wednesday crash on Interstate-95, according to a Delray Beach Fire Rescue press release.
It happened at 9:34 a.m. in the northbound lanes north of Atlantic Avenue. The sedan and a minivan collided, leaving a man sitting in the back seat of the sedan seriously injured, according to the release.
Fire fighters freed the man using the "Jaws of Life" and rushed him to Delray Medical Center with major injuries.
The driver and a child passenger in the sedan along with those in the minivan were not injured in the crash, Fire Rescue spokesman Capt. Kevin Saxton said.
The Florida Highway Patrol will be investigating the crash.
