JACKSONVILLE, FL : Man killed after crash on I-10, 'Good Samaritan' also killed in hit-and-run minutes later on Saturday, 24h May 2024

A 31-year-old man is dead following a crash on Interstate-10 eastbound and McDuff Avenue blocked all lanes early Saturday morning.

A 23-year-old man who stopped to help and left his vehicle was also hit by a car and killed, according to FHP. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the sedan, which collided with the concrete barrier wall on the right shoulder, struck the 23-year-old fled on foot, troopers said.
