An 80-year-old was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a semi tried to pass his westbound pickup truck on Interstate 94 just east of the
city Monday afternoon, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.Leonard H. Raddohl of Rice, N.D., was taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo after a semi driven
by Brian J. Quigley, 49, of Elk River, Minn., sideswiped his Dodge Ram, the report said.The semi, which was hauling an excavator on a flatbed trailer and driving in the left lane, went through the highway cables and ended up in the ditch-like median,while a camper attached to Raddohl's pickup rolled onto the left shoulder.Quigley was not injured.The crash occurred at 2:12 p.m. near milepost eight. Both men were wearing seat belts and did not have alcohol in their systems, the report said.
