Hesperia, CA :Tractor-trailer collides with sedan on I-15 in Hesperia on Thursday, July 2nd 2015
A collision between a tractor-trailer and a white sedan had traffic backed up on southbound Interstate 15 on Thursday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol logs.The initial collision was reported around 2:34 p.m. and reportedly involved a tractor-trailer and the sedan. Both vehicles were reportedly pulled over onto the right shoulder just north of Main Street. A brown van was also reported to be pulled over in the center divider, but CHP officials said the van did not appear to be involved in the crash.At 2:46 p.m. CHP logs reported that witnesses were saying "approximately nine other vehicles" along with the semi-truck were involved in the collision, but CHP officials later said that nine vehicles were not involved, the only cars that were involved were the sedan that was towed from the scene and the tractor-trailer.Southbound traffic was reported to be backed up from Main Street to just north of Nisqualli Road at 3:01 p.m.A flatbed tow truck was called to transport the sedan at 2:48 p.m., but as of 3:16 p.m. the tow truck was "stuck in traffic" and moving at "slow speeds," according to CHP logs.
