Tracys Landing,MD : 2 injured in Tracys Landing crash on August, Tuesday 22nd 2017

Two people were taken to the hospital following a crash in Tracys Landing Tuesday evening.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department said firefighters responded to a report of a crash on Solomons Island Road near its intersection with Jewell and Fairhaven Roads around 7:20 p.m.

Responders found an accident involving a SUV and a sedan where the SUV had flipped several times and bystanders had assisted the driver before they’d arrived.

The department said the 20-year-old female driver was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

A passenger in her vehicle was taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries, the department said.

No one in the sedan needed to be taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries, the department said.
