Marshall, MO : Four individuals suffered injuries from a crash on Sunday, December, 3rd 2017
Four individuals suffered injuries from a crash that occurred in Saline County early Sunday, Dec. 3.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the incident took place on Interstate 70 at the 65-mile marker when a 2007 Mazda was traveling west.
The vehicle — driven by Channing P. Payne, 39, of Kansas City, Mo. — traveled off the left side of the road, returned to the road, overturned, and then went off the right side of the road before coming to rest, according to the report.
Payne sustained moderate injuries, the report said, and was transported to a Sweet Springs hospital by ambulance. An occupant, Ora L. Holmes, 39, of Kansas City, Mo., was transferred to the same hospital via ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries.
Two other occupants were injured and transported to a hospital, though it isn’t clear if they were transported via ambulance or private vehicle. Willie J. Holmes and Amyiah L. Troutman, 12, both of Chicago, were transported to the hospital for treatment of moderate and minor injuries, respectively.
The crash occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. Sweet Springs Ambulance District and its fire department assisted MSHP at the scene.
