Highlandville, MO : 4 teens die in southwest Missouri crash on Wednesday, November 26, 2014

Authorities say four teenagers are dead after a pickup truck crashed into a tree in southwest Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened Wednesday night when driver Landon C. Potts went off the left side of the road four miles west of the Stone County town of Highlandville. The 17-year-old from Nixa was killed, along with three passengers. The patrol identified them as 19-year-old Logan A. Middleton, of Nixa; 19-year-old Lance D. Porterfield, of Sparta; and 19-year-old Cody R. Uber, of Nixa. Four others were hurt, including two 19-year-old passengers who were taken to a Springfield hospital with serious injuries. The patrol says two 18-year-old passengers sustained minor injuries and weren't transported.
