A motorcyclist who was seriously injured after he was side-swiped and t-boned into the air in a hit-and-run crash is expected to survive, but police now need your help finding the suspect.
The hit-and-run happened 2:03 a.m. in the area of South Parker Road and East Quincy Avenue.
Police said a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle style was going north on Park Road in the center lane when a car going south turned directly into the path of the motorcycle, side-swiping the motorist and sending him several feet away from the site of the crash.
The suspect vehicle never stopped and fled the scene of the crash, Aurora Police said on YouTube.
Evidence recovered at the scene suggests the suspect vehicle is possibly a 2006 to 2008 Honda Civic 4-door with a sunroof, police said.
Officers added that the vehicle has damage to the driver’s side headlight, bumper and fender. The video also shows the driver’s side headlight dangling straight down in front of the car.
