A 76-year-old is dead after a two-vehicle crash in southeast Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happening at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday evening along I-55 SB around the 5 mile marker.
Tyrone Taylor, 51 of Detroit, Michigan, was driving south in a 2023 Kenworth when state police said his vehicle hit the rear of a 2018 Ram Promaster Van, driven by Steve Alderman, 76 of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The crash caused Alderman's vehicle to run off the road and overturn.
Alderman was pronounced dead at the scene.
