Cincinnati, OH : Truck crashes into fallen concrete in Lytle Tunnel on Thursday night, February 12, 2015

A truck struck concrete that had fallen in the left lane of southbound Interstate 71 in the Lytle Tunnel Thursday night.

The piece of concrete, originally reported by authorities to have fallen into the roadway, was described to as large by witnesses at the scene. The truck cab sustained body damage to the lower, front-left portion of the vehicle.

Debris from the concrete and the truck cab forced authorities to keep the left lane closed for more than an hour.

Initial reports from the scene said the truck struck the concrete after it fell from the tunnel structure.

The concrete was not reported to have fallen on the truck at any point.
