Loudon County ,VA : 5- Years old Boy killed and Eight People injured in Minivan and school bus crash along Hihway 95 in Loudon County on Saturday , January 3rd 2015

A young Roane County girl died Saturday from her injuries following a crash involving an ambulance and a minivan full of kids on New Years Eve.

According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 5-year-old Lillian Creek, died three days after the crash on Highway 95 in Loudon County.

According to THP, her mother, Jessica Creek, was driving a van when she crossed the highway's center line in a curve, hitting the Rural/Metro ambulance. All five of her children, ages two through seven, were in the vehicle.

Crews took the entire family to UT Medical Center and later transferred Lillian and her 7-year-old brother to Children's Hospital.

Paramedic Richard Williams, who was driving the ambulance, as well as an EMT riding with him, were also hurt in the crash and taken to the hospital.

The report stated Jessica Creek "possibly turned her head to tend to her passengers" when she crossed over the center line as they entered a curve.

It also stated that there are no criminal charges at this time pending the investigation.
