Monroe County, GA : Covington man killed in accident in Monroe County on Wednesday, 27th October, 2020

A Covington man who was riding a four-wheeler was killed in an accident at about 7:30 a.m. today in Monroe County.

A preliminary investigation indicated that Dennis Ervin Tracy, 66, of Covington, was on a four-wheeler and was crossing Georgia Highway 87 near Lassiter Road when he was struck by a passing vehicle, according to a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office press release.
