Racine, WI : Motorcyclist injured in crash at 16th Street and West Boulevard on Tuesday, June 21, 2016

A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries Tuesday after his motorcycle and a car collided at 16th Street and West Boulevard, police.

The motorcycle, driven by a male, and a car apparently crashed near the intersection at about 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Racine Police Department.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken from the scene in a Racine Fire Department ambulance to Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Hospital for leg injuries, police said. The injuries were not severe and the man was treated and released, police said.

The wrecked motorcycle and bits of debris remained in the intersection for at least a half hour as Racine Police investigated the incident.

No details were available Tuesday night on the exact cause of the crash or possible citations.
