Davis, CA : Driver dies in I-80 crash in Davis on Tuesday, 25th September 2018

A motorist was killed Tuesday morning when a box truck struck a tree along Interstate 80 in Davis, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred shortly after 10 a.m. on westbound I-80 east of Richards Boulevard. The CHP reported that the GMC box truck left the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with an oak tree on the right shoulder of the freeway.
