SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC : A fatal crash on Highway 56 near West Road on Thursday, 4th July 2019

Emergency crews responded to a fatal crash on Highway 56 in Spartanburg County.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 5:34 p.m. on Highway 56 near West Road.
The driver of a 1999 Nissan was traveling east on Hwy 56 and ran off the left side of the road, troopers said.
According to troopers, the driver struck a tree and died at the scene.
