Fairfield Township, OH : Multiple people injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Fairfield Township on Tuesday morning, May 12, 2015

A medical helicopter responded to a multi-vehicle crash in Fairfield Township on Tuesday morning, according to emergency communication reports.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. near Walden Ponds Golf Club on Hamilton Middletown Road near Headgates Road, dispatchers said.

Multiple people were injured in the crash, officials said. Authorities closed Hamilton Middletown Road in both directions. The road was reopened before 9 a.m.
