Authorities say a man is in critical condition after an all-terrain vehicle struck a utility pole.

The New Castle County Paramedics said officials who arrived at the scene of the collision in Glasgow on Friday found a man lying in a ditch. The man, who is believed to be about 30-years-old, was taken to the hospital in Stanton by helicopter and is in critical condition.

New Castle County Police are investigating the incident. They have not released the name of the man who was injured.
