South Carolina troopers are investigating a crash that killed a man walking on a road in Rock Hill Tuesday night.
Investigators told Channel 9 that an SUV driven by the wife of Rock Hill's police chief hit 61-year-old Larry Kennedy on Dave Lyle Boulevard near White Street around 7:40 p.m.
Kennedy was rushed to the hospital where he died.
Officials said neither person in the SUV was hurt. It was unclear what led to the collision.
No charges have been filed and the coroner's office said autopsy and toxicology testing will be conducted on Saturday.
