A bicyclist died Friday, June 10 in a collision with a truck on the north side.
According to Tucson police, the man was riding east on East Prince Road at about 2 p.m. and was hit by an eastbound truck that was turning right onto North First Avenue.
Police described the truck as a "roll-off" truck, but it wasn't carrying a load.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene.
Police described the cyclist as a man in his 30s. His name is being withheld pending notification of his family.
Tucson Police Department Sgt. Pete Dugan said it doesn't appear speed or alcohol were a factor.
Police closed the intersection for the investigation. It was expected to be closed for up to three hours.
