Oklahoma City,OK: Stillwater driver dies after crashing pickup into house on October, Sunday 29th 2017

A 20-year-old man died early Sunday after he crashed a pickup into a house while having an "adverse reaction" to "psychedelic mushrooms," police said.

About 1:20 a.m., Caleb Holt was driving a pickup west on Sixth Street.

A Stillwater officer in a parking lot saw a pickup traveling at a high rate of speed went after it to try to pull the driver over. The pickup veered across the eastbound lanes and crashed into the home in the the 600 block of S Jefferson.

Holt died at the scene. Officers later learned that Holt reportedly consumed mushrooms and had an adverse reaction before the crash.

Nobody was inside the home at the time of the crash, police said.
