A woman had to be extricated from her vehicle early Tuesday after she veered off the road near the parking lot for Helen Hunt Falls in North Cheyenne Cañon Park.
Authorities received a call for a single-car rollover crash at 1:52 a.m. The woman, in her late 20s, was pinned inside the vehicle when firefighters arrived, authorities said. Officials used the Jaws of Life to free her from the vehicle, said Capt. Steve Wilch, a spokesman for the Colorado Springs Fire Department.
She was taken to an area hospital for evaluation, Wilch said.
