Richmond, VA : 23-year-old Greyvon Tyler killed in a single car crash on Saturday, Nov 21, 2015
Richmond police say 23-year-old Greyvon Tyler, a Richmond native, was killed in a single car crash just after 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21.
Tyler was a petroleum supply specialist in the 127th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
In an article posted to armytimes.com, Lt. Col. Dominic Ciaramitaro said in a statement that Tyler’s death is an “absolutely tragic loss to our family. Pfc. Greyvon Tyler was a remarkable paratrooper, full of vigor and a love for the airborne life. Joining us this past June, he had already accomplished more in five months than most soldiers do in five years. From training rotations in Germany and Fort Polk, Louisiana, to his marriage in October, Pfc. Tyler was already making a difference with his positive outlook, bright smile and desire to better the lives of his fellow paratroopers.”
