Two men were killed and another was injured when a car struck a tree in northern New Jersey. But it's not yet clear what caused the single-car crash in Scotch Plains, which occurred around 9:45 p.m. Saturday on Route 22 east. Authorities say the car's driver and the front-seat passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene. The injured person, who was sitting in the backseat, was flown to a hospital, but further details on his condition have not been disclosed. The names of the three men have not been disclosed.
