A woman who died Wednesday afternoon in a head-on collision with a tractor-trailer on Route 25 was identified by state police.

Donna-Lee Zahn, 50, of Parsonsfield was killed in the crash with a tractor-trailer carrying wood chips and driven by Gary Runnells, 32, of Canaan. Runnells was not injured.

The collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. about a half-mile from the Kezar Falls Bridge, Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said.

The cab of the truck burst into flames, McCausland said.

Troopers continue to investigate the cause, according to McCausland.
