CARROLL COUNTY, VA : 2 flown to hospital after head-on crash on Highway on Monday, 15th April 2024

Two people were flown to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries after a head-on collision in Carroll County on April 15.

Details about what led to the crash are limited; however, the Hillsville Fire Department says shortly after 5 p.m. crews were called to the intersection of Highway 68 (Carrollton Pike) and Training Center Road.

When crews arrived, they discovered a person was trapped inside their vehicle. First responders removed the side door to help free the patient.
