Culpeper, VA : A car crash near Gordonsville on Culpeper, November, 5th 2017
The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who may have been injured Culpeper, night in a car crash near Gordonsville.
Deputies originally were looking for Travis Walker, of Gordonsville, and his 8-year-old son after Walker’s car crashed into some trees off Penta Drive, just south of town limits.
Family members posted on social media that they believed Walker’s son was with him and that Walker was likely seriously injured.
Sheriff’s Maj. Donald Lowe said authorities located Walker’s son Monday afternoon and that he was safe with his mother. He also said there was no indication that the boy was with Walker at the time of the crash and Walker’s disappearance.
“The call came in by a neighbor that stated she heard the accident and the vehicle went down through several trees,” Lowe said. “Witnesses state that a male was seen getting his phone from the vehicle and running away from the scene of the accident and was bleeding ‘pretty bad.’”
