HARRISON COUNTY, MS : Victims identified in deadly U.S. 49 crash on Thursday, 14th March 2024

On Thursday, officials identified 68-year-old John Potts and 13-year-old Victoria Hutcherson as the two people who were killed in a crash on U.S. 49.
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer said Potts was driving a minivan and Hutcherson was a passenger.
Potts was crossing the Southbound lanes of the highway at Nobles Road and F Taylor Road in Saucier.
The van was then struck by a dump truck.
