PARK CITY, UT : a 41-year-old man is dead and a 40-year-old woman is in critical condition after they collided on Sunday, May 28, 2017

Police say a 41-year-old man is dead and a 40-year-old woman is in critical condition after they collided with a semi-truck on Friday.

Police have identified the deceased man as Landon Peatross of Duchesne. He was pronounced dead at Park City Hospital.

The accident took place on U.S. 40 shortly after midnight.

Police say a semi-truck driver was westbound on the highway when he rear-ended Peatross and a woman who is in critical condition.

An investigation is ongoing.
