Hazleton, PA : A three-vehicle crash on 22nd Street near Route 309 on Wednesday, January, 24th 2018

Two people were taken for medical treatment after a three-vehicle crash on 22nd Street near Route 309 (North Church Street) on Wednesday afternoon.

It was just before 3 p.m. when Hazleton police and fire were dispatched to the wreck.

Fire Chief Donald Leshko said a Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Cobalt and a Toyota Rav4 were involved. Firefighters assisted with the treatment of two people who were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Hazleton by American Patient Transport Systems Inc., and traffic was rerouted in the area until the vehicles were removed.

City police are investigating.
